46 traditional Chinese medicine institutions form allies
Yesterday, Xi'an Traditional Chinese Medicine Medical Association was inaugurated at the city's Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital. 46 Traditional Chinese Medicine medical institutions in the city's districts, counties and surrounding brotherly areas have become "allies".
According to Zhao Feng, director of the Municipal Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, building a medical consortium is an effective measure to deepen the reform of the medical and health system, build a new medical service system, realize vertical integration of medical resources, and alleviate the people's difficulty in seeking medical treatment. Prior to this, the Municipal Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine had established a TCM medical consortium with Yanta District Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital, Weiyang District Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital and their 10 affiliated community health centers, and Xi'an Lianhu Qinhua Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital. It had also established a professional TCM anorectal medical consortium with 15 city, county (district) Traditional Chinese Medicine hospitals in the province.
The establishment of this medical consortium has established a strategic platform for mutually beneficial cooperation and win-win results among TCM medical institutions at all levels.
