Yellow leucorrhea may be related to internal heat, but it is more common in gynecological infectious diseases such as vaginitis and cervicitis. Abnormal leucorrhea is usually caused by factors such as infection, hormonal changes, or local irritation, and needs to be comprehensively judged in conjunction with other symptoms.
Getting angry may lead to the accumulation of dampness and heat in the body, which indirectly affects the microenvironment of the reproductive tract, causing the color of leucorrhea to deepen. This situation may be accompanied by systemic symptoms such as dry mouth and tongue, yellow and red urine. By adjusting the diet, increasing the amount of water consumed, and avoiding spicy and irritating foods, the symptoms may be gradually relieved.
In more cases, the yellow color of the leucorrhea indicates pathological changes. Bacterial vaginosis may cause leucorrhea that is grayish-yellow with a fishy smell, and needs to be treated with medications such as metronidazole effervescent vaginal tablets. Trichomonal vaginitis often causes yellow-green foamy leucorrhea, and tinidazole suppositories combined with topical lotion can be used. Yellow purulent leucorrhea caused by cervicitis needs to be combined with Baofukang suppository or interferon gel for local anti-inflammatory treatment. Chlamydial infection requires oral dispersible tablets of azithromycin for systemic treatment. Senile vaginitis may be related to decreased estrogen levels.
Daily care should be taken to keep the perineum clean and dry, choose cotton breathable underwear and change it daily. Avoid excessive use of alkaline washes to rinse the vagina to prevent disrupting the normal flora balance. If the yellow color of the leucorrhea lasts for more than 3 days, or is accompanied by itching, burning, odor and other symptoms, it is recommended to seek medical attention in time for routine examination of the leucorrhea and to identify the cause and then provide targeted treatment. It is necessary to increase the frequency of changing sanitary napkins during the menstrual period to reduce the risk of secondary infection caused by menstrual blood stimulation.
