Can radish and fruit be eaten together?

After people eat radish, an anti-thyroid substance called thiocyanate will be produced in the body.

If you consume a large amount of fruits containing plant pigments such as oranges, pears, apples, Grape Etc., the flavonoids in these fruits are decomposed by bacteria in the intestines and converted into hydroxybenzoic acid and ferulic acid.

They can potentiate the thyroid-suppressing effects of thiocyanate, thereby inducing or causing goiter.
